We are pleased to announce two “ILS Early Career Travel Award” for young researchers attending the 3rd ILS Society Conference and SMART Symposium on Structural Lipidomics in Shenzhen, China in October 2024.

Prize

This award is endowed with €1000 to cover travel, accommodation, and registration expenses for each applicant. A total of two applicants will receive the travel award.

How to apply

Applicants must be 

1. current members of the ILS (students and early career postdocs) and must submit 
2. a short application letter (max 250 words), 
3. the conference abstract and 
4. a short CV. 

The submitted abstract must represent an outstanding contribution to the field of lipidomics. Submitted documents will be shared with the members of the IECTA award committee only.

The award committee for this application consists of the following ILS representatives:

• Erin S. Baker (VP for education)
• Yu Xia (VP for diversity and inclusion, local organizer of ILS conference and SMART symposium)
