ILS Interest Group on Oxylipin Analysis, first open meeting
Dear Colleagues
The International Lipidomics Society recently established an Interest Group on Oxylipin Analysis to draft a community guideline on this topic. The plan is to provide information on best practice relating to analysis of these lipids using mass spectrometry through a publication shaped by community input.
I am delighted to act as Chair and our core group consists of Nils Schebb, Craig Wheelock, Ginger Milne, Miguel Gijon, Hubert Vesper and Kim Ekroos. We now plan to open this up to the community of interested scientists to get input.
Our next step is to hold an open meeting online, on both;
Wednesday the 17th of January, 12:00 PST | 15:00 EST | 20:00 GMT | 21:00 CET | 05:00 JST | 07:00 AEDT
Thursday the 18th of January, 04:00 PST | 07:00 EST | 12:00 GMT | 13:00 CET | 21:00 JST | 23:00 AEDT
The main meeting will be on the Wednesday, with the presentation repeated live on Thursday so that those unable to make this can participate.
In the meeting, we will cover analytical considerations of oxylipin analysis, although many of the points are also applicable to analysis of other lipids by mass spectrometry. All are welcome. Please forward to other interested colleagues.
